apples, pumpkin pie spice,brown sugar..

8 medium size Jonathan or Granny Smith apples, peeled,
cored and thinly sliced

1/2 cup water
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice


1.  Combine the apples and water in a slow cooker; cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.

2.  Stir in brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; continue cooking another 30 minutes.

Yield: 8 Servings
Serving Size: 1/8 of recipe.
